It doesn't! Tata/VRDE Kestrel WhAP is specifically made for UN peacekeeping roles (in international territories). So far there's no indication that Indian Army would be interested in it.

You're the insecure 'follower' who's seeking to know what other's are doing or not doing! I didn't bring up Russians at all. My suggestion/idea stands vindicated on the legs of technology, economics & combatForceMultiplication!! Weird is that Russians actually are pursuing that avenue by putting...

I am clearly a superior intellect because I can have an original idea that's backed by science & technology. While you've lived a life being someone's bitch....a follower all your life! An idea can/should stand on its own. Why would you take some lowly scientist in DRDO writing a concept paper...

You're a pathetic piece of shit who has no shame is lying. You spoke like an imbecile to start with, and when your lack of knowledge was exposed, you're equivocating to salvage your shattered pride! Also, I am not abusing you by using the words shit, imbecile etc. It's just a metaphor to convey...

Could you please stop BSing? Firstly India does have a DRDO that does R&D for future products! Secondly, the tech is already developed (at a pittance of a cost, if I may add) Lastly, the idea of turning OLD T-72 into unmanned tanks is precisely because India doesn't have a huge budget that it...

And you didn't reveal anything that I didn't know already! Talk of attention seekers greed for false credit and false sense of grandiosity! Darn! I've myself made all those points years ago, on this very forum! That said, pointing out the value of the 4th member in a discussion on 'unmanned'...

    Indian Army Armored Vehicles

You actually did, by trying to educate me that tech demo doesn't mean it's feasible & by comparing Muntra to Fusion reactors! And that's where I've tried to educate you that there's no 'custom building' there. The tech is for remotely maneuvering a combat vehicle and also remotely view...

    Indian Army Armored Vehicles

Not really! What you're referring to is battlefield maintenance....which is only significant because of human occupants, who need to get out of harms way ASAP and join their regiment. If it were an unmanned tank, then it could be safely ignored for a little while until recovery tanks can get to...

    Indian Army Armored Vehicles

You're obviously not a person of science or engineering! The fact that Muntra does recon and not offensive ops is immaterial to the fundamental technology focus - which is remotely controlling an armored vehicle....with two-way data links for real time communications that results in remote...

The inverse of Schindler's List! People on this list are beyond saving....so just ignore. Congratulations....you're on it! :-)

I can't drag you from under the rock of 'denial'....if you're so comfortable under it. At least for the sake of the forum standards, stop lying just to stroke your own ego! Muntra is not just a 'possibility' it has been proven as 'feasible'! That tech is already being 'exported' to other...

    Indian Army Armored Vehicles

At this point I am beginning to see why I had to start every previous response beginning with the word 'again'. Remote controlled vehicle/tank/dozer has already been proven by DRDO...comparing it to and brushing it off as fusion reactor is simply STUPID. I rest.

The idea is not to build something brand new (at a huge expense) but to re-purpose an old-soon-to-be-deinducted machinery into a force multiplier. Existing armor will protect (even) the unmanned tank from anything less than next gen ATGM!!

    Indian Army Armored Vehicles

The problem on this forum (and probably in the IA circles too) is that it's impossible to appreciate a creative idea that might actually become a force multiplier (based on existing indigenous technology).....but it's easy to orgasm at some hackneyed work done by 'other' countries! I wouldn't...

    Indian Army Armored Vehicles

Again none of that is any reason for not putting 'de-inducted' tanks (when it happens) to few additional decades of work (being the tip of the spear) with a little input in making them unmanned!

    Indian Army Armored Vehicles

None of that precludes them for deploying for 24-48 hour period to get a tactical advantage over the enemy! If a unmanned tank breaks down, there's not need to rush to fix it as no human lives are at risk!

    Indian Army Armored Vehicles

Eh? These are for the soon to be made obsolete Dragunov rifles, right???
  19. E

    Indian Army Armored Vehicles

None of that is a problem. Muntra is not an AI based armored vehicle but a remotely-controlled vehicle. Similarly T72s can be made as remotely-controlled! When tank regiments charge towards enemy, they are not figuring out their way on the charge! The paths are preset...with years of terrain...

    Indian Army Armored Vehicles

None of those prevent making T72 an unmanned tank! Unmanned tanks will have significant advantages over manned ones. Not putting soldiers lives at risk is an obvious one. Another important advantage is that unmanned ones can be driven into strategic locations (that could be in cold mountains)...
