We know nothing about AIM260. So before comparing it to Meteor, I think we have time. And the main improvement of AIM260 versus AMRAAM may be range. Or not. Why not more speed because time is life in combat.

not totally. Bad guidance may mean a bad trajectory, or a trajectory in dense air => less range. Bad guidance may mean too sharp manoeuvers => less range. Bad guidance may mean the missile miss the target (but I think it's a solve problem for years).

I think it is a single pulse engine. But hard to find some data about it.
