When was PARS-3 ever in contention? I thought it was always LAHAT or Spike in case of an interim foreign ATGM, also considering early Rudra prototypes were displayed with quad-packed LAHATs.

HAL chief said that IDAS (Intengrated Defensive Aids Suite) will be installed on the SP variants onwards of the LCH. It is also in the process of being indigenised aka ToT as stated by SAAB a while back.

LAHAT can be integrated in quad packed configuration on Rudra though, don’t know about HELINA.

It has been tested from Rudra, not LCH.

MBDA Mistral A2A Missile has also been integrated, not just cannon and rocket pods.

Can you share source for army asking for this? If they ask HAL have to either source one from abroad or someone has to make it here if the tech is available, this makes me believe army hasn’t or hasn’t yet asked for such a system.

Do y’all think it’s feasible for a Mk2 version of LCH to be made into something like this with FBW and internal storage of weapons and re designed landing gear?
