Can't say about serial numbers ,but can say with sure that most of the cheap copies could be identified by just looking at their pistol grips.Authentic ones have mostly plastic pistol grips or wooden ones with good finish..Paki made ones have crap wooden pistol grips with bad finish.Otherwise...

The rifles in both pics are captured weapons and the weapon in the first pic with horizontal magazine catch is most probably an Ak made in Darra area of pakistan as similar copies of original typeIII-AK47s are found manufactured still there where as the rest of the world had moved on to AKM
