I think govt should declare incentive of 1 crore ₹ to each scientist involving in a particular project after completion within a certain time period and selection of the product by IAF/IN. e.g. if 200 scientists are assigned in AMCA designing then if they complete the design in a fixed timeline...

Guess what, no one will sell IAF a true fifth gen fighter hence this stand. We already have rejected Su57 and we don't like F35.

PMO putting pressure to speed up the development ? If iam not wrong IAF has said that they won't purchase any 5th gen ac from foreign countries.

If you see some media channels' report on fighter aircraft you'll commit suicide for e.g. yesterday NewsNation was reporting that JF-17 is a 5th generation fighter aircraft. :lol: Though I am happy with NewsNation that it at least create reports on defence matters.

I understand your concern but both our enemies doesn't have supercruising jets so why to bother that much ? as far as supercruising is concerned T-50 and AMCA will have it.

LCA Mk II is a 4++ Gen fighter what more do you expect? We'll be having PAK FA T-50 for heavy 5th gen class +MKIs and AMCA for medium 5th gen class + LCA which itself has low RCS, I think it's enough.

LCA was intended to replace MIG-21 and is better than it and even other MIGs, period. Even after belonging to the same class J-17 is a no match for it. F-16, J-10 are of a different class.
