Military coups are taking place in French Africa: Mali, Niger, Burkina Faso, now Gabon. Looks like Putin has decided to cut off the West from rare earths, minerals and other resources.

Seems that Niger coup has set a motion to chain of events in African countries. A seperate thread for Gabon coup can be created.
