Collecting LOX during supersonic flight is very difficult. Scramjets can't do that buddy, Scramjet only works in the atmosphere. You would need something like the SABRE concept, even that is just a concept.

Scramjet can't take you out of atmosphere, Scramjet works only in atmosphere. So the Scramjet will either be on first stage, or You would need something that can work like the concept SABRE engine. I think ISRO eventually want's to build that.

Ummm no!... not even one went past concept stage...X-20 is the US concept which is similar to RLV-TD. It's not similar to TSTO.

Sorry it's absolutely different and as for semi-cryo engine is concerned, who told you scramjet has been ruled out. There is no similar program as TSTO in the world... The point is to achieve full reusability, space-shuttle was not fully reusable. The tank was a major component the wasn't...
