Lch has better armour than mi35 in some respect! Even ajai Shukla admits it. Defence Materials Research Laboratory (DMRL), Hyderabad has developed the armour for the LCH from ceramic plates. The pilots’ area was designed to withstand a direct hit at 90 degrees from a 12.7 mm armour-piercing...

UNSC has no leverage against India. Any actual sanction will heart USA UK russian and France trade as much as it will hurt India. Our arms deal have different imperatives now. With Russia we get help in nuke subs , supersonic/hypersonic weapons including sfdr. These are very important for...

You said previously that luh is 'inferior ' and no other govt will buy it. Both statement are devoid of logic. Luh does perfectly what it was supposed to do.

You do realise luh has different design philosophy from ka226! We could have built luh with twin engine and more payload at the cost of high altitude performance and maintenance!! Learn the difference.

Second engine gives extra safety over north eastern valley where sudden depth and rise is very difficult for helis to navigate and helicopters loose altitude faster. We have lost quite a few helis in North East. I'm too baffled by this deal but my guess is the reasons are two fold one I stated...

This is from business standard article. Seems Russia is offering 200 kamov +111 for navy as a bundle with total price as 3 billion USD. Each Heli then costs about 9-10 million USD. What will be the pricing of luh any idea?

Lca mk1 is in manufacturing . Mk1a price negotiation issue is almost solved . Mwf project is already sanctioned under mk2 name . Alh has been continuously manufactured. Lch is in limited series production. Imrh project sanctioned. Yet you chose to believe in a narrative then suit yourselves.

It's not pointless it is a technological feat. Which remains with us for further development. Kamov can eat into some orders but luh is here to stay and will only get better. It probably see more numbers in service than alh dhruv.

Wouldn't that need redesign ? Also wouldn't that consume more fuel reducing range and endurance. We are anyway developing medium weight helicopter now. Should focus effort on that . Sent from my C103 using Tapatalk

We have developed choppers all light till now. Because we need them on high altitude where nothing else works effectively not Russian not American. Now covering that requirement we can move on to heavy choppers . Sent from my C103 using Tapatalk
