From the wind tunnel model of the air intake, it seems that it has LEVCONs. Is Mk2 going to have levcons as standard feature? And is it possible to make an internal weapons bay on Mk2? LCA already has smaller RCS, with internal weapons configuration it will be ahead of Gripen NG overall.

Pilots ejected out safely.......I'm guessing it is some failure in the aircraft that led to crash and not a pilot error as they bailed out safely unhurt. Pilots are safe this is ofcourse a relief.

I know wikipedia is not a reliable source but in the wikipedia's artical, a 4.5 gen aircraft is defined by an AESA radar and ability to supercruise.

Can you provide the source of your info, I mean the link. 0.5 meter length increase, it's a big change from what we have been reading. From what I understand, LCA MK1 couldn't be a 4.5 gen fighter because it's airframe can't incorporate AESA radar; a bigger engine which could make it supercruise...

They could make a bubble canopy with 1 meter length increase in MK2.
