Syrian Govt is being supported by Iran, Hezbollah and Russia; is being opposed by Saudi Arabia, West and Sunni organizations. Hamas has scaled back. If Syria falls, expect a much more bloody Iraq, Israel, Turkey's kurd areas etc.
