I guess we will know the answer after the new air defence command is created in the next 3 years.
My understanding is that NASAMS2 is for Delhi, S-400 is for the borders. They don’t intersect. We already have separate indigenous radars for tracking from a surveillance perspective.
there is an element of off-roading required to get to nice spots long forward posts.
Anyways, let’s see how the final design looks like. this seems to be a very early prototype.
Looks like NASAMS-2 purchase discussions are about to start.

So far Syrians have been using S200 for AD, and none of their adversaries have ventured into areas where S400 has been deployed I.e north east Syria.
Needs confirmation though...
