This is excellent. African countries are finally getting some guts to retaliate where needed. I hope that more countries in the SAHEL region actually adopt the Rwanda model of development and focus on bringing capital from non-Western investors into their mineral processing and secondary industries.

The African dictators however come across as weak and greedy leaders with no intentions to work for their people. Most of them do not have any vision for their countries and instead, end up becoming puppets of the EU and oppress their own.

The francophone countries need to stop giving France the right to hold their currencies and have independent monetary systems of their own.
They don't have an option. Most of these countries are run by France's puppets who keep the country piss-poor and illiterate. Most Nigeriens don't even know what a nuclear power plant looks like, let alone know how to make one use their own resources to generate power.

If any Francophone leader grows some conscience, he or she is toppled by another France-backed dictator. The problem with coups and counter-coups is that none of the African leaders have any interest in managing their own country and growing it. The ONLY African leader with some serious intent is Paul Kagame of Rwanda who has turned his country around.

Not a single SAHEL country has such a leadership.

What's the point of banning export of Uranium and Gold to France and other western countries??

Charge more than current rates but why banning? How are they going to use this in their country where they have no nuclear power?

I saw many comments by Africans that they are going to use Uranium themselves as if it is a wonder power which they can rub on their body and become superhuman.

Yup. Problem is half the francophone countries in Africa are arid desert countries, who don't have much potential in the first place. But there are some franqafrique countries like Central African Republic and Chad which are fertile, resource rich, so can potentially support productive economies if there is good governance. If these countries get their act together, it'll change the African landscape.

Central African Republic can be Wakanda in real life. They have everything that they need to make things happen - a lush green landscape, fertile soil for massive farming, tonnes of resources underground, and a fairly young population that can be trained with the right planning. Rwanda did this and today they are the most advanced country in mainland Africa (Mauritius and Seychelles are the richest for now).

But African dictators, with the exception of Rwandan Paul Kagame, take crazy to a whole new level. They make Mao and Pol Pot look like saints - insane, power-hungry, absurd, and fanatical like no Asian dictator can even imagine. I am all for Niger trying to break free from France but view their new general with skepticism.

Until Mali, Niger and Burkina Faso can get their own central bank within their borders with their own financial advisors and experts, any form of independence is going to be difficult. Even Russians will manipulate them despite their strong affinity towards Putin right now.
