I only want to say that the CATOBAR is the best system for aeroplane launches on aircraft carriers; however it only has one problem that it consumes lot of fuel.     I don't think India has the technology and the interest to produce a CATOBAR aircraft carrier. So developing a Tejas specially for CATOBAR take-offs is anyway invalid.
