Yes, but first let them come up with a smaller aircraft that is at par with international products of comparable capacity. It would be nice to have collaboration with foreign companies. The Sukhoi Superjet 100 can be a benchmark for quality.

Turbofan is an improved modification of the basic jet engine. A turbofan is essentially a jet engine in itself, that is more economical. Since the context here is passenger aircraft, economics is important. Please see the videos below:
