Sir, just a fair warning. I had to go for 6 trips over 5-6 years to get my first sighting!!! But then that one trip made up for all the other disappointments. I got to see leopards too. One ran right infront of our jeep on some hunt.

I don't attempt to take care of them myself or by our staff. I only call ARRC or PfA for rescue and get our guards to safe keep the birds till they arrive. Usually within a day. I have rescued so many birds and animals that I take these deaths as part of regular things. The worst is when munias die in due to being disoriented in all glass companies. This usually happens when they are taking care of hatched young ones. That munia dying means the entire family starves...

True. Mostly thousands of years ago and mostly not due to human action. (Asiatic Cheetah had some human element in their extinction in India) I only made that comment as to how we respect the nature. A better way to measure coexistence could be extinct species to human population ratio.

One thing we must be proud of in India. We have a really large population. Still we did not cause extinction of any of them. Consider this with what the others did to the Dodo's, Tasmanian Devil, Passenger Pigeon, Black Rhino etc.

    Incredible Indian Wild Life

This bird was actually thought of as extinct after they were not spotted in Rajasthan during the 1980s. Fortunately they were found doing well around Rollapadu village and we still get to see these beautiful birds. Honestly, conservation effort actually is very unfair to the people. Lots of...
