Maybe through PPP models some funds can be raised. Look spending in indigenous product recharges our own economy. Better than buying more apaches where every rupee spent goes to America.

Sir it's Army Job to buy weapons that have passed their basic specifications. Weapons can be fastracked no problem. If u place order now it will be take at least 1 years before a single squadron is formed, by that time all its weapons will be ready. Guns and Rockets are already done as for ATGM...

Didn't know anything about this, I assumed a heavy heli would have a hard time at gaining speed. But weren't these tactics used to make up for the lack of accuracy in the helis. Now a hellfire would do the job of a single rocket pod. I drew my conclusion mostly based on this...

LCH can have multiple roles. During kargil war mi 17 were used to launch rockets at Paksitani posts. This of course was a bad idea because they were huge slow without any counter and not so Manuvervale. If another such situation arise LCH can be used to level a post on heights like this...

At the end of the day it is only likely that US developed system will be miles ahead of Indian. The Bell Cobra fighter helicopter series has over 13 variants and has served for over 5 decades. U can say that the helicopter has maxxed out on it's capability.
