Just because you have more ships than that does not mean that you are stronger, Quantity here is not the only value that matters. In terms of technology, Chinese Navy is lacking in Comparison to the US. Chinese submarines are reportedly also more louder than their US Counterparts, some reports...

    Chinese Navy Destroyers

AFAIK, there has never been given any timeline with regards to Project-18 class of Destroyers. Anyways to match Chinese, we don't need to have a ship which is on par with Chinese Type-55 etc, we just need to build something which is close in Displacement to it and has good firepower.

It's not very good to underestimate Chinese Destroyers like that, the best Destroyer class present in Chinese inventory is the Type 55 class. Chinese Navy Destroyers

This may be bigger than any US Destroyer which utilizes the AEGIS Weapon System but I have a question. What do you Personally classify the Type 55 as? A Super Destroyer Or A cruiser? Because many say that Type 55 is a Destroyer but by looking at its Displacement for me it seems to be a cruiser.

I don't Know about who exactly invented the idea of "VLS" but I know one thing about VLS and that the Idea of "VLS" was introduced way back in the 1960s. - 1 example is the U.S. Navy commissioned the George Washington in the verge of 1960 as its first Ballistic Missile Submarine, making it the...
