Indian needs a lot of commercial aircraft and it would be logical if we produce something which is cheaper but have similar capabilities ..

Why we are looking at these prop driven aircraft on first place .. Almost all airstrips can take care of a A-320, If they are indeed looking at regional transport better look at Embraer E-170 , Antonov An-158..
