However the Tejas engine program would have benefited with the EF more. The Dassult engine is some what lagging in power and is outdated, i wonder if we will get the new eco core or do they even have a program to induct the 92kN M-88 engine with eco-core?

Did you mean F-22 or F-35? For once i agree, the EF looks like a sack of shit. It has no 4.5gen capabilities, the radar is in limbo and the avionics are mediocre at best.

I always knew the Dassult Rafael will win but i had doubts because EF-2000 may have improved its tech specs and they had newer engines with more thrust but looking at the result EF-2000 is worse than LCA in terms of project maturity. Sources say EF-2000 may not even be ready till 2016. However...

The AIM-9x has TVC to but i dont see the point your trying to make, how does that substitute to having TVC in aircraft? Two aircrafts with TVC missile vs one aircraft with no TVC at all, the argument is a cul-de-sac.
