Arihant is underwater platform, so is Arighat and Pontoon, does Aridhaman or S4 exists well than it's too a underwater platform capable of firing K-4 :)

Point is was it K-4 or suppressed range K 5..... when we have subs going on deterrent petrol already, probability that K-4 is still not ready for test from Sub is quiet low. So if it's tested from pontoon than it's most likely K5. :india:

Arihant won't fire K 5 at best it will fire K 4. All SSBN's are supposed to fire while submerged usually from depth of 20-50 mts. Indian SSBN's will able to do it too...

Main difference is height & weight of K 5. A-5 started at 18 Meters and 50Ton, K 5 will be max 12M and about 20Ton. So design & efficiency improvements are done for SLBM and if they aren't too expensive or complex its implemented on ICBM's.

Here we go again.... the 300KM, nuclear capable Dhanush test fired from Ship.... Now waiting for news on K-4... Well we tested our operational missiles Prithvi 1&2 & Agni 1&2 and now Dhanush.... upgrades or preparation ? And will we see test of Agni 3 & 4 too ?

So after Agni II test.... the next one is....... Successful: First Night Trial of Prithvi-II Missile.... India test fires 350 km range ballistic missile Prithvi-II from Integrated Test Range off Odisha coast. Waiting for updates on tests of K-4 & 300Km missile from ship......

So the 20-22nd Feb Test was for Agni II by Strategic Forces Command..... :) any news on other tests.. @kurup ?

More than K-4, what is more important is which vessel will fire this K-4 ? Aridhman, Arighat or is it Arihant :)

Hope this launch is from Arihant / Aridhman and not from Pontoon.... Well don't mind if it's K-5 being tested from Pontoon though
