    ADA Tejas Mark-II/Medium Weight Fighter

@Kshithij I have one more examples that NASA always have one of the live projects of x-planes and those x-planes were only meant for technology demonstration. F-16XL was one of the example and in India , NLCA mk-1 takes that place.

    ADA Tejas Mark-II/Medium Weight Fighter

Sure:cool1: Time will tell but as I said BrahMos-NG will not be on LCA (mk1 & mk1A) but another lighter future variant (which is not on any development plan) may be there..:yo: yup, something like Swedish RBS-15 is quite feasible with mk1 & mk1a

Please go through the whole discussion to clear your doubts but if you don't have that time than I want to share quotes from the articles you shared.. 1. http://www.indiandefensenews.in/2017/11/brahmos-light-cruise-missile-for-lca.html Mig-35 is a improved variant of Mig-29 and we already know...

    ADA Tejas Mark-II/Medium Weight Fighter

Neither BrahMos will be able to lower down the Weight to suit LCA's heaviest capability pylon (for mk1 & mk1) nor IAF will agree have BrahMos-NG on its LCA

There is no plan to fit any of the BrahMos variant on LCA.

    ADA Tejas Mark-II/Medium Weight Fighter

CFT is almost not possible for MK1A. No speculations for mk2 until ADA freeze the design. Additional hardpoints on wing tips will require high level of wing modifications. To house additional wingtip hardpoints , ADA need to either crop down the Aelirons (which reduces the control over...

    ADA Tejas Mark-II/Medium Weight Fighter

Yup, extra internal fuel was among the primary requirement. It seems ADA changed the wheel retraction design and shift it to outer side of fuselage.

    ADA Tejas Mark-II/Medium Weight Fighter

Can be added but ADA has no plan to increase the number of hardpoints. They only want to increase the range which is the present and major drawback. Increased internal fuel capacity will give an opportunity to use inner wing stations for heavy load instead of fuel tanks. CFT is also not planned...

TVC nozzle in LCA /any single Engine jet(if added) It'll give the ability to better manueverability only in axis parallel to wings but will share negligible effect on the axis perpendicular to the Wings like F-22 have TVC. Even if a 3d TVC nozzle added to any SE JET it will behave like 2d TVC.

    ADA Tejas Mark-II/Medium Weight Fighter

No CFT's are planned for LCA. only External fuel tanks are to be used.
