Google never release specific numbers of unit sold but by seeing how it performed in American,Indian,European and australian market i wouldn't be surprised if it would have sold 10 + million units.

Xiaome is regional player and have limited market while nexus 5 is sold in america,canada,europe,india and even china.

Xiaome is a freat success in china but nexus 5 is a bigger success in other different countries.
china is 1.4 something billion market and world is something like 6 billion market.
