    As usual when it writes about such matters, the tone of the New York Times article is one of drama and lamentation. To the NYT, the concept of profit is just too distasteful.

    What else makes you think that UK and France took part in that war? If they were there to do charity, one would be highly wrong to say so especially in today's European economic condition. :lol:
