As of Tuesday, Feb 25 2014, at least 2,174 members of US military had died in Afghanistan as a result of US led invasion of Afghanistan in 2001, according to Asssociate Press count.
The AP Count is one fewer than Defense Department's tally last updated on tuesday at 10 AM EST.
At least 1,795 military service members died in Afghanistan as a result of direct hostile action, according to military numbers.
Also some 19,656 US service members have been wounded in hostile action.

- Master Sgt. Aaronc Torian,36, of Paducah, KY.... Died on Feb.15 (RIP) while conducting combat operations in Helmand province, assigned to 2nd Marine Special Battalion, Marine Special Operations Regiment, US Marine Corps Special Operations Command, Camp Lejeune, NC.
