Mr Oliver Stone, you are suffering from Stockholm syndrome... Did China apologies for killing 30 millions of peaceful civilians in Cambodia?? Anyway Sir, we all respectfully disagree with you...

Oscars do not make a person a know all in geostrategy.

His concern is the huge market Asia presents even for B grade Hollywood films!

No use of holding present generation responsible for what their grandparents did... It is time to move on... Yes British colonialist were responsible for the famine in Bengal...

BTW whom do you go for those 30 millions in China's cultural revolution ??

compare the US treatment to Snowden and the the treatment meted out to dissidents in China.

Oliver Stone you had better put your energy on the other side. You have to be a delusional american to call Snowden a hero. @W.G.Ewald your comment on this.

Implying it is not a great country now? What a moron.

Wow, this guy's grasp of geopolitics is amazing. Surely he should be made the President of the Earth.

To think he supported the "snake" in his campaign and voted for him. Not fickle minded at all.

That didnt change the fact that they have not apologized. Which made me comment on this sentence from your follow countryman:

Mr Oliver Stone, you are suffering from Stockholm syndrome... Did China apologies for killing 30 millions of peaceful civilians in Cambodia?? Anyway Sir, we all respectfully disagree with you... .

I am just mildly amused that certain poster are more busy getting an apology on behave of Cambodia than getting one for their own country.
Surely you can see the irony in that? How you pretend to speak for cambodians when you couldnt get one for your own country?

It seems it must have rubbed something the wrong way... The intent was not for an apology for Cambodian [I leave it to Cambodians] who have been forgotten and abandoned by the same Hollywood stars, as those same people who choose to pretend to know all attitudes and intentionally pick and choose to comment to be politically correct.

You have mis understood the intent of my post and twisting argument to a different context... I am not the person shouting from roof tops for an apology...

It's funny because the last time I checked it was China that behaved like a baby when someone was being awarded the Nobel.

That could have been the reason for any other film-maker.

For someone of Stone's calibre & legacy, Stockholm syndrome looks a prime possibility.

If the Chinese makes even one cheep like Tweety bird over the asking for any apology from the CCP for the Cultural Revolution massacre, then the CCP will add to its free labour force by throwing them into the Laogai!

    That is the difference.

They are very sage like on other's issues, but are braindead over their miseries, being whipped into straitjackets!

Take the Tienanmen Square massacre. Not a single mention can be made of it in China or you are simply locked up in the Laogai!
