I don't think Vinashak is in service with IA. Or is it?
Sorry, its Vidhwanshak not Vinashak...... But anyway, does IA do use Vidhwanshak? Last time I heard that they have discarded it for weight issue and its being used by BSF.

Its a news to me. As per what I have heard and learnt from this site and others, it weight around 25Kg for 12..7 mm and 20 mm rounds whereas for 14.5x114 mm round it weights a whooping 29 Kg. Because of it IA is not using it.

In weight category it is lighter only to Denel NTW-20 from which it has been adopted.
