    So there is the clarification, the second will be sent in modules to Russia for assembly but still built in St. Nazaire.

    So why does it keep ending up in the media?

    Looks like France is going to take the lionshare of that $12 billion.

    I'd like to hear that from a Russian official. I would never imagine Russians to buy foreign equpment, given that their's is probably one of the best in the world.

    Putin and Medvedev have both talked their heads off about Mistral and facing down the pressure from their own industry. It is as done as it can get without ink on the paper.
