Sir, in this regard, I blame the armed forces with all due respect. Yes they are under civilians but they need to push the civilians to understand te implication of skin nothing. If required, twist their arms. The armed forces cannot let our nation be at a strategic disadvantage. The army is committed to security of the nation and it includes from the scums that don't form the right policies while in power.

well windows for re-taking our land closes further down. and nobody in north-south block are going to do anything.everybody is concerned in making yurajj the king.what is political/militrary implications of pak-china this step. i see one we wont able to attack pakistan on kashmir side as this would pull china in any indo-pak future conflict.and pak would continue to use national assests effectivelly against usa nd expect more mumbai 26/11like operations for other part of country specially south india

We are just seeing the half picture.
With US not supporting Pakistani mediocre government, their biggest source of income is gone. Many western companies have cancelled their orders to Pakistan.
Their textile, leather and sports good industry has taken a huge hit.
They also need money. For this reason they are leasing land to Chinese.
Also China is not America, to maintain foreign bases, especially near your enemy is huge problem during peace time so lets not talk about war time.
I would say Pakistan is a tomb on which every Pharaoh has laid his hand on.

Anyways, there is no concrete news yet. Currently its nothing more than speculation. Even if it were to happen, the transition would be subtle and ultra slow. Chinese would rule with remote control.

Enough of blaming the Brits for everything wrong!! Partition was the fault of the people of the Indian subcontinent.

But my point has always been, partition was a good thing. It was the best thing that happened to modern India. India would have been worse than sub-saharan African states today, if partition had not taken place. Partition was good, barring the loss of lives. I hope the people who lost their lives are at peace in the regions above, their sacrifice has not been in vain - it has allowed India to survive and grow as a nation.
