At today's press conference in Baku vice speaker of the Senate of Pakistan Mir Jan Muhammad Khan Jamali Pakistan has informed that Pakistan proposes creation of the block.

"International organizations approach to conflicts in the Muslim world with double standards, although reaction comes immediately on conflicts in Christian countries, and we therefore propose creation of a unified Islamic military block," Jamali said.

Upto year 2025, Pakistanis have managed to conquer 4 continents - Asia, Africa, Australia, Europe - but only the northern part of India. The remaining chunk of India along with the Americas goes down only in 2028.

It is a bit true that Pakistan wants to position itself against India using Islam as the devise, How good that comes out to be. First India is no Israel and has diplomatic relations with all the Muslim countries in the world. Second point is that Islamic unity is an illusion. The Saudi - Iran rivalry will never end because of the inherent Shia Sunni divide, Moreover, there are problems within the Islamic countries as well. Turkey has boundary dispute with Syria, Iraq with Iran, Kurd problem is faced by almost all the ME countries who face persecution everywhere. Then we have problems between Malaysia and Indonesia

They already did too. Punjab, Sindh, NWFP, Gilgit, Baluchistan, FATA are all united states to create an Islamic military block. I guess most people are more interested in separating said block.

On a more serious note, an Islamic military block would only mean the US is sitting right on top.

Rather than protection from the US, I think Pakistan wants to safeguard their borders from India.

When push comes to shove, the whole group will crumble anyway.

For as long as they have been on this planet these countries have been always involved in one or the other war either against foreign lands or with n themselves.

Sooner or later a day will come that they will turn to India for lesson in peaceful coexistence otherwise they will perish as a society in whole. Their obsession to turn every other society to tow their way of thinking will undo their own existence through out Arab nations.

If they can not follow the simple principle of live and let live than they as a group have no future no matter much natural resources they have at their disposal.

Even if they are successful in forming a block, can one imagine the infighting that will erupt not only with in the group but the sub groups based on Kabila way of lifestyle? I hope they succeed in their efforts and watch the fireworks from outside.
