@ladder you are asking someone who has no knowledge about Eco or about Aviation. He wants to go against his own govts figures
May be, that's a lot to ask of him.
but, Its good till it's civil and in knowing his POV ( even if idiotic)
also, particularly for this thread, I never knew PAC was under PAF and it manufactures tablets (PAC-PAD 1)

The reason why PAF setup the PAC is because Pak did not have a civilian industry which had any kind of experience in this sector unlike most other countries.

It is both a good thing and bad thing. The good thing is that PAF can control the quality and requirements by themselves. The bad thing is that they have to commit time, men and resources to an industry they shouldn't really be involved in.

What does your last post say?
Does it say PAF have all the funds and no constraints for JFT?
Does it say PAF have addl. unused funds to pursue projects like PAC-PAD 1?
as i said PAF has the money and they pay them.

now if they have projects anything should not be our concern

We don't have the luxury of a wide budget to inject into R&D for a project like JFT etc. PAF trains its officers in Business/Project management/Finance etc and some private firms are also hired for such ventures. They recently set up a marketing team to market the JF-17s which also conducted air shows in China, UK,Dubai and Turkey.

However, there is some attitude towards the private aviation companies in Pakistan especially in the area of Unmanned vehicles. One good example of that would be the Integrated Dynamics. GIDS on the other hand is the first defense conglomerate in Pakistan which has allied organizations of its own.
