    KARACHI: The Muttahida Qaumi Movement Sindh Assembly members on Wednesday called on acting speaker Shehla Raza, Geo News reported.

    According to reports, the MQM lawmakers submitted an application for allotment of opposition benches in the Sindh Assembly.

    The MQM nominated Moin Amir Pirzada for the slot of opposition leader in the house. Earlier, the party had nominated Syed Sardar Ahmed as opposition leader.

    The acting speaker assured the MPAs that they would soon be allotted opposition benches in the Sindh Assembly while notification for Moin Pirzada’s appointment as opposition leader would also be issued.
