This PSLV=ICBM drivel has to stop. By those standards, reven Japan has ICBM.
Re-rentry is the most difficult technology to master. Bharat has not yet demonstrated that capability, publicly.

Any news about Surya?
The Space Capsule Recovery Experiment(SCRE or more commonly SRE orSRE-1) is an Indian experimentalspacecraft which was launched at 03:53GMT on January 10, 2007 from Sriharikotaby the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO). The launch was conducted using thePSLV C7 rocket, along with three other satellites. It remained in orbit for 12 days before re-entering the Earth's atmosphere and splashing down into the Bay of Bengalat 04:16 GMT on January 22

All our Agni Series missiles have a reentry vehicle capable of carrying warhead. ISRO had its own reentry experiments SRE1 and SRE 2.

PSLV was our worse case back up plan, but it has its limitations, as its not military missile.

Different tech model even though they share some techs partially.
In the case of return satellite, you have enough time to adjust its track and posture before re-entry, which means you can control the re-entry while warhead is flying on inertia;
Another difference is you will slow down the satellite in the whole re-entry procedure but warhead will fly at full speed, which requires those components inside and material outside to sustain greater heat and vibration.

Why dont we also twist and turn and say if a country has a Boeing 777-LR (and its autonomous and automation controls) with a range of 12,000 KM plus and puts in a weapon system inside is that ICBM capability !!

Controlling satellites are more difficult in re-entry then free fall missile RV.
plus ISRO is dealing with vibrations for long time.

I do not know why there is a doubt that Indian missiles do not have reentry vehicles? Indian latest missiles are step ahead from following just pure ballistic trajectory. Instead that they also have capability to follow a relatively flat trajectory once they reach an altitude, to avoid easy detection and interception albiet at cost of range. Indian RV esp in AGNI 3 and Agni 5 have thrusters for maneuverability. You get a glimpse of them in action in one of the launch video

We dont have doubts, its only Chinese who is at the receiving end, want to play games with us.

If we can do BMD then we can also do counter to BMD. Those in same business know what we are doing.

Adding little flavor :

The non stop probhition because of its threat and risk . (pakis not allowed go non stop certain places)

The civilian use being capable of other use. Boeing 777 Has 10,000 km range. (You know GSLV tech blocked because it can possibly used for ICBM use even though not sure any ICBM use CRYOGENIC and Liquid Fuel!!)

Paki have previous experience with airplane weapon systems.

Introducing the Paki ICBM:

Pakis have such advanced technology ... A close up is proudly advanced for its factual observation. But its use is only CIVILIAN. Even what it carry is immaterial. Was there any discussion on pakis being allowed such weapon system. And its obvious military and non civilian use ... And threat.

You mean say that just like landline why waste too much resources go straight to smart phone and mobile tech. :hat: yep we have ICBM and expertise but we know what's ahead and fast and future.
