    Bullsh1t. Inception was a loose remake of a japanese animation called "paprika". The 2d animation had more flexibility to portray the complex dream sequences than the movie ever could.

    This a screen cap from the animation. The scene was copied in inception where arthur fights with the man and suddenly the whole room starts spinning.

    In inception, the characters use wires to enter in the dream world. In paprika, they wear this gadget around the head as shown in the below cap

    Inception is tighter remake of that Disney Dream of a Lifetime comic (every plot object similarity explained in that Cracked article). Also, Paprika appears to have released after Dream of a Lifetime.
