Year-end special: How India flexed its muscles in 2012 - Rediff.com News

Good read on events of 2012.

One question to the experts, the article says

The 4000 km range nuclear capable ballistic missile Agni-IV was successfully flight tested on September 19, 2012.

The long-range missile propelled by composite rocket motor technology was tested for its cool capability.

What does cool capability mean ?

well composite motor which they hav tested is made of the composite elements in appropiate proportion so as it can sustain at that much of high celcius temp. Without getting heated to an extent.
So they hav developed that material which provides it cooling for long range missions as used in space vehicals
