Would you like to share some history and tell the members how and why DFI was launched, who created it and contributed to its development?

I once transplanted DFI's database (server image) between two hosts. I literally had all of DFI on my Macbook, at one point.

An Indispensable enlightening arena where I learned the nuances of fundamental attributes of various Defence platforms.Much obliged to the people and respectable members working behind the scenes to make this a very interesting and informative

Wish all the members on anniversary of our founding. I join ones during the early days of DFI. DFI came into being to provide a voice to those who wanted to express themselves on matters of defence, security politics etc. It was a time when most used to be on WAB but they were forced to close South Asia section in the aftermath of 26/11 when Pakistanis DDOSed then and asked them to not allow any anti Pak stuff to be posted there.

So DFI came into being
