The man India holds responsible for engineering the 2008 Mumbai terrorist attacks that killed 166 people moves freely in Pakistan.

On Wednesday, Jamat- ud- Dawa chief Hafiz Saeed delivered a fiery speech as thousands of followers joined him at the famous Aabpara Chowk - situated just a few hundred yards from the ISI headquarters - and asked them to get ready as the " time has come to perform the final jihad against India to free Kashmir from Indian occupation". " Are you ready to help Kashmiri brothers and sisters? Would you join me for this noble cause?" Saeed asked the gathering.

Thousands of his followers responded to their leader by assuring him that they were ready to fight India. "Kadam badhao Hafiz Saeed, hum tumhare sath hain (Lead the way Hafiz Saeed, we are with you," an energetic crowd of roughly 7,000 to 10,000 chanted.

On Wednesday, as Pakistan marked the 16th anniversary of the nuclear test, Saeed swept into the Capital city for a rally arranged by the JuD titled 'Takbeer Convention'. He was followed by former ISI director general Hamid Gul, Senator Talha Mehmood and former head of right wing political party Jamat-e-Islami.

Saeed, who drove-in in his bullet- proof jeep in a heavy security cover, was received with rose petals.

He criticised PM Nawaz Sharif for attending Indian PM Narendra Modi's swearing- in and said he (Sharif) betrayed the Kashmiris. " Mr Prime Minister, you have stabbed the Kashmiris at their back by shaking hand with Narendra Modi. Kashmiris would never forgive you," Saeed said.

He advised the Sharif government to refrain from indulging in a " love affair with India" as he believes it was useless. Sources told Mail Today that names of Hafiz Saeed and Dawood Ibrahim came up during discussions between the two PMs on Tuesday.

Pakis are coward... they can never win a man-to-man against India.

All they could do is keep a cross border terrorism which has backfired badly.

Indian Army is too keen to have live target practice and put bullets where it deserves to be. :salute:

@Neo Man each and every Pakistani has a responsibility to free their brothers of Kashmir. Will u answer His Holiness Hafiz Saeed's call? Will u help your Kashmiri brothers? If u dont, would u not feel ashamed that u have failed your brothers? This is a noble cause man!

You will have your hands full with IM and soon to be popular Indian Taliban. You think you will stay immune while messing with Afghanistan and using her as proxy?

Personally I don't believe in Jihad or Ummah but I am against supression of any kind and any religion or ethnicity.

IM has almost been wiped out and I havnt heard of Indian Taliban. Dude jihad is a holy war. We both know that. U regard Kashmiris as your brothers . Then why would you not help them when they need u the most? Would u just leave them to their fate? Hafiz Saeed is giving u a lifetime oppurtinity to take part in a holy war? Would u just shy away from your responsibility?

IM is still there and will soon have
new leaders. Taliban are known to use local terrorist organisations so IM is not the only group on their radar.

The term Jihad is hijacked and mostly abused by the west and India to malign muslims.
Hafiz Saeed is a moron, hope a drone finds him sooner or later.

U just called the most respected man of Pakistan a moron. Do u think u will be forgiven for this sin. Just because you have left the country u think u can abuse your national icon? He is atleast trying to wage a holy war. And instead of supporting his noble cause, u are abusing him. Where is ur patriotism? Is this how u treat ur respected leaders?

Jihadists originating or influencing from Pak have already pissed off Russia and now China (after the recent attacks) so far besides India in Asian region.

So you may stop worrying about India and start worrying about those who shelter the likes of Hafeez Saeed et.al.

You may elect fascist RSS extremists as your leaders but do not generalise. Majority of Pakistanis won't even care if Hafiz Saeed gets killed. He may recruit few brainwashed weak minds but he's hardly an icon and certainly not respected my the masses.

So, by that view you won't care at all about his buddy buddy former ISI chief Hamid Gul too right?

RSS guys dont have a bounty on their head and neither is RSS a declared terror organisation unlike LeT. RSS hasnt sent jihadis to Pakistan to wage war. So dont bring in unnecessary things. Just because u are a coward to not join Hafiz Saeed's jihadi army, dont say he is not an icon or a role model. U should be ashamed of yourself. We never abuse our national icons. Pakistanis happily give their children to him because they know he is fighting a noble war. See the no. of people who attend his rallies.

Good to know. Now, will you then consider ISI to be rogue as well considering how they encourage this now "rogue, bitter" man :

Why Hamid Gul is a dangerous loose cannon - Rediff.com India News

"After retirement he does things for a personal reason and while doing so he has no responsibility towards anyone. Although the ISI knows for a fact that he is going about his business, they look the other way. In fact the ISI would want more retired officials to deal with terror networks since they could absolve themselves of any blame," the officer says.

"Even if a foreign agency were to find out that Gul was training or motivating terrorists, the ISI could always wriggle out by saying that they have no control over their former staff. The deploying of former ISI personnel to further their agenda only gives the agency a chance to deny their direct involvement," the officer notes.

"The ISI in fact would encourage such persons and keep them intentionally off the radar. It is like the case of a terrorist who is more lethal when he is ideologically charged instead of being financially motivated," the IB official also pointed out.

ISI has been cleaned up since Hamid Gul was sidelined. There are elements who do not fully agree with the army or with.our foreign policy but they are loyal to the country.

You are being selective.

Simple question :

Do you or do you not support Hamid Gul in his present form ?

You can't deny the fact that even after being away from ISI, such rogue elements continue to be propped up by ISI and are supported for plausible deniability.
