This is very funny...... very very funny.

NEW DELHI. The Islamabad Police today filed a complaint against an unidentified person they said is Indian, for making frequent phone calls to their control room and asking them to raise 'Jai Hind' slogans, reported Pakistan's The Express Tribune.
The caller reportedly flooded the phone-lines of the Islamabad Police control room on December 25 and demanded he be put on the phone with senior police officials. He allegedly even issued threats to the officers who took his call.

Initially, the cops couldn't ascertain the nationality of the caller through his language, but they were offended by him constantly saying 'Jai Hind' and therefore assumed he is Indian.

Later, the caller claimed that he was speaking from India and that his name was "Zashe", said the Tribune.

"The calls started coming in around 3:30 in the morning. The caller wanted to speak to the Inspector General of Police and the Deputy Inspector General. When his requests were turned-down, he intimidated us with objectionable language", said sub-inspector Shabbir Ahmed, who was deployed in the control room.

"He told us to raise 'Jai Hind' slogans," Ahmed added.

As the caller line identification of the control room was dysfunctional, the officers-in-charge had to take help from the Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) to trace the caller's number. PTCL reportedly confirmed that the calls were coming from India.

US owes Pakistan $9 billion in reimbursements from the war on terror, says defense minister

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Parliamentary Committee on National Security (PCNS) held a consultative meeting on Thursday to discuss the country’s response to recent criticisms by US officials, including President Donald Trump.

“Everyone needs to be united on the issue since it is a matter of the country’s survival,” said National Assembly Speaker Ayaz Sadiq while chairing the PCNS meeting, which was briefed by Foreign Minister Khawaja Asif and Defense Minister Khurram Dastagir.

National Security Adviser Nasser Khan Janjua, Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Sheikh Aftab Ahmed and key opposition leaders also attended the meeting.

Opposition leader Syed Khursheed Shah demanded that all defense institutions and representatives of the Finance Ministry should participate in the follow-up session that will be held next week.

“We cannot make decisions based on emotions. The next session should review the military and financial situation of the country,” Shah said, adding that the situation needed careful examination before the country could frame a measured response.

Briefing the media after the meeting, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Shah Mehmood Qureshi said US pressure has regional implications and Pakistan needs to weigh its options.

“We have to look at the situation in the Middle East, at relations between the US and Iran, and the border that Pakistan shares with Iran,” he said.

“We have to consider these things as they are part of the larger picture upon which our response must be formulated.”

Meanwhile, Dastagir said the US owes Pakistan $9 billion in reimbursements from the war on terror.

America can’t drone strike JuD’s Lahore HQ, says Hafiz Saeed; blasts Pakistan govt
Published January 5, 2018 | By admin SOURCE: India TV

Jamaat-ud Dawa (JuD) chief terrorist and Mumbai attack mastermind Hafiz Saeed has said that America cannot drone strike his outfit’s headquarters in Lahore. Saeed, whose JuD and Falah-i-Insaniyat Foundation (FIF) have been banned from collecting donations, said that he has not received any formal communication from the federal government regarding its decision which he said was taken under America’s pressure. Saeed’s remarks comes hours after JuD said that it will serve a legal notice to Defence Minister Khurram Dastgir Khan for “defaming” it. Dastgir had said that the action against the JuD was not taken due to mounting pressure from the US, adding that the move was aimed at preventing terrorists from opening fire on schoolchildren again. In a statement, the JuD said, “World knows who is behind the steps against JuD and FIF. Our rulers are reluctant to mention the involvement of India in terrorist activities in Pakistan. Efforts are being made to please external lords by propagating against those forces that have actively played role in Pakistan’s defence.” The Pakistan government had earlier this week banned JuD and FIF from getting donations following US President Donald Trump’s outburst against Islamabad’s sheltering of terrorists. Further, Saeed blasted the government for not jumping to the defence of Palestinian envoy who has been recalled by his country for attending an event organised by the JuD last month. Last week, Palestine had recalled in Pakistani envoy Walid Abu Ali after India strongly conveyed to Palestine that its ambassador attending JuD’s event is ‘unacceptable’. On Kashmir, Saeed said that “no pressure will deter them to work for Kashmir cause”. Saeed is a major irritant in the already strained relationship between India and Pakistan. He runs the Lahore-based JuD which he claims to be running for humanitarian charity. FIF is also a charitable wing of the group. The organisation has been blacklisted by the US, which has described it as a foreign terrorist organisation. Saeed even carries a bounty of USD 10 million announced by the US for his role in terror activities. His group, JuD is believed to be the front organisation for the LeT which carried out the 2008 Mumbai terror attack in which 166 people were killed.

US President Donald Trump speaking India language: Pakistan Foreign Minister
Published January 5, 2018 | By admin SOURCE: ENS

PAKISTAN FOREIGN Minister Khawaja Asif on Thursday alleged that US President Donald Trump’s recent remarks against his country showed that he was “talking in the language of India”. Briefing the Parliamentary Committee on National Security about tension between Pakistan and the US following Trump’s remarks, Asif said the US was making Islamabad a scapegoat for its failure in Afghanistan. Earlier this week, Trump had tweeted that “the United States has foolishly given Pakistan more than 33 billion dollars in aid over the last 15 years, and they have given us nothing but lies & deceit, thinking of our leaders as fools. They give safe haven to the terrorists we hunt in Afghanistan, with little help. No more!” Sources privy to the discussion at the meeting said Asif told lawmakers, “Trump was speaking in the language of India”. “The statements from the US leaders are contrary to the facts,” Asif said. Meanwhile, amid reports that the Trump administration was set to announce more drastic steps against Islamabad, the Pakistan Army said the country would respond to any US action in line with the aspirations of the people. “In case of (a) US action against Pakistan, it will be responded to (in line with) the aspirations of the people of Pakistan,” the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Director General Major General Asif Ghafoor said in a brief statement. It is not clear whether the Pakistan Army issued the statement in anticipation of some possible unilateral action against Pakistan, The Express Tribune reported. National Assembly Speaker Ayaz Sadiq, who heads the Parliamentary Committee on National Security, told the media after the meeting on Thursday that there should be a “balanced response” to the statements from the US. “The country’s dignity should be maintained, while engaging with the US,” he said. He said the committee has decided to reconvene next week for a briefing by security agencies. The closed-door meeting came at the heels of a high-level National Security Committee meet and the cabinet meeting earlier this week. Defence Minister Khurram Dastagir was also present at the meeting. Dastagir said when US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson and Defence Secretary James Mattis visited Pakistan, they presented their stance in accordance with diplomatic norms and the talks were not threatening and insulting, Geo TV reported. “(But) this was present in Trump’s tweet and before that US Vice President Mike Pence made the ‘put Pakistan on notice’ statement from Afghanistan,” the Defence Minister said, referring to the threatening tone of the US leaders. “We need to have a holistic review of the entire situation. We are conducting a complete analysis and coolly formulating our response,” he said, adding that there should not be any doubts when it comes to the defence of Pakistan. “The question is will America create a situation which will harm Pakistan…We are ready for this but still want to engage the US,” he shared. Responding to Washington’s allegations, Maj Gen Ghafoor, the military’s media wing chief, said Pakistan had taken action against the Haqqani network. “Effects of action against the Haqqani network will be visible in due time,” he said. Speaking to a private news channel, he said the country’s collective response to Trump’s tweet was a positive sign. He noted that Pakistan and the US were still allies, and the relationship between the two countries had gone through ups and downs. “We are allies and a war cannot be fought with allies,” he said. “There are several occasions where Pakistan has sided with the US. At one time Pakistan had the option to become the ally of Russia but it opted to join hands with the US instead,” he said. However, he said, in case the US took action against Pakistan, it would be responded to in accordance with the aspirations of the Pakistani people
