Pakistanis looking for news about the killing of two Chinese nationals by the Islamic State in Balochistan were surprised when they didn’t find any mention of the development in the country’s leading newspapers on Friday morning.

The issue was apparently blacked out after editors and reporters of the country’s Urdu and English newspapers were told by the powerful security establishment late on Thursday not to carry any news on the killings.

They know that they are going to become a colony of china. To have the knowledge of Master's language helps to serve them and please them better. Pakistan is doing right thing.

Actually, I do not see any harm in learning another language. I assume many of them would have a decent grasp of English as well and if they learn Mandarin Chinese, it will surely help them interact with a larger group of people- tourists, businessmen and women, students.

Not to mention it will help quite a few of them gain employment opportunities as interpreters, guides, professional translators and also opportunities not only in China itself, but also where the Chinese may be in need of such services, especially English speaking countries.

Interpreters, translators can make some pretty good dough. Besides it's far better than mugging and regurgitating all the trash that many of them would otherwise be learning in the madrasa.

With all but respect, Learning a foreign language is one thing. Putting up signboards in public in a foreign language is an entirely different matter.

Chinese an Pakistanis can never mingle in large groups. Chinese are the very embodiment of the term 'Haram'.. I am eagerly waiting for the day fireworks start when we see mass migrations from China to Pakistan...

Of course, they'll need Napakis for the menial labour and such, but they'll largely have Chinese run schools, supermarkets, medical facilities, shopping plazas, amusement and entertainment arcades, almost exclusively for Chinese.

Perhaps... one thing that immediately strikes me is, even though there isn't an outright ban on consumption of pork, there is a standing ban on importing pork and there are no domesticated/bred for consumption pigs. Chinese sure will miss it in the land of the purrrr

More importantly, pakis aren't as adept at controlling their snakes as the Sauds are. These quarantined communities present easy and juicy targets for suicide bombers wanting to ram through their gates claiming Chinese kaffirs are polluting the purity. This is advantage India quite simply because even small Rumours of pork consumption or even transportation can lead to big reactions in paki land. Let's see, it will be interesting to see how things turn out.
