I mean compared to previous times when there was no warning at all, early warning can save most lives. Controlling Natural Events like earthquake, tsunami is out of question in these times, may be in future.

Tsunami waves are mechanical waves and thus energy transfer is through the phenomenon of compression and rarefaction.
