Americans take part in Estonian independence day parade in Narva, 300m from Russian border.

U.S. military vehicles paraded 300 yards from the Russian border - The Washington Post
Why is American Army personnel taking part in Estonian Independence Day Parade?

Is Estonia a surrogate. colony of the US?

Which country has foreign forces in their own Independence Day military shows?

In Finland, do you also have American military in your parades?
It's called "Vassalhood Day," as I have already stated before. :)

Russia military agreement in Cyprus - Business Insider
Russia reportedly getting military bases in an EU state
Read more: Russia military agreement in Cyprus - Business Insider

UPDATE: On Monday, Russia said it would not be "creating" any bases on Cyprus and the Cypriot foreign minister denied a "Russia deal on bases."
On Sunday, news outlets reported that Cyprus offered to let Russia install air and navy bases on its territory.
It was reported that Cypriot President Nicos Anastasiades announced that the country was ready to host Russian aviation and naval bases. The official agreement on military cooperation between the two nations is expected be signed on Feb. 25, according to Lenta.ru.

"There is an old [defense] agreement, which should be renewed as is," Anastasiades said according to Lenta.Ru. "At the same time, some additional services will be provided in the same way as we do with other countries, such as, for example, with France and Germany. Cyprus and Russia have traditionally had good relations, and this is not subject to change."

This announcement came after Russia in late January expressed interest in having a military base in Cyprus, according to the Global Post and Greek Reporter.
Cyprus is one of the 28 member states in the EU, which has been imposing sanctions on Russia over the past year in response to the actions in Ukraine.
And just as Greece has recently caused a stir by complicating the process of extending sanctions on Russia, Cyprus, too, just voiced some opposition to the additional sanctions on Russia, adding that many EU members shared that opinion.
"We want to avoid further deterioration of relations between Russia and the European Union," the Cypriot president reportedly said.
Military cooperation between Cyprus and Russia would be another red flag for the EU.
Presumably, the Russian Air Force will use the air base Andreas Papandreou, along with the international airport of Paphos in the southwest of the island, about 50 kilometers from the air base of the British Royal Air Force Akrotiri. Additionally, the Russian navy will be able to permanently use the base of Limassol, according to Lenta.Ru.

"The Limassol port borders on the British air base of Akrotiri, which serves NATO operations and is also an important hub in the electronic military surveillance system of the alliance," according to the Global Post.

So what do you think all these loans and "humanitarian aid" for? Who gives loans to a bankrupt country?
Your weapons factories will grind to a halt without the loans.
Every borrower hopes he never has to pay back the loans. You may hope for that too. But Uncle demands blood in lieu.

Of course. Ukraine does not sell oil and gas. 15% of its economy suffered due to the annexation of the Crimea and war in the Donbass. The West and the Soviet Union also gave money to fight Hitler.

Howitzers were seen moving east Tuesday from the largest rebel-held city in eastern Ukraine further into separatist-controlled territory, but the Ukrainian government disputed the rebels' claim that a heavy weapons pullback had begun.

Food Maidan: Shortages and Panic Buying in Lvov

2/25/2015
Food Maidan: Lvovians are fighting over oil and flour.
Translated from Russian by J.Hawk

The Lvovians who were jumping so crazily on the Maidan are now displaying a similar level energy when jumping from store to store in search of food. They are not even looking at labels, but are rather grabbing anything they can find, including goods marked with the Russian flag. The inhabitants of Ternopol are liable to kill each other over a bottle of sunflower seed oil, whose price has grown with every day.

There is a genuine food hysteria in Galicia which is due to the import tax which was introduced by the Cabinet of Ministers led by their beloved Prime Minister Yatsenyuk, and to the catastrophic fall of the hryvnya. The devaluation is causing Lvovians to clear the shelves while refraining from mentioning Bandera, yelling "Glory to Ukraine," or even singing the national anthem.

"People are buying up flour and sugar by the sackload, we have a shortage of groats, sunflower seed oil, and frozen goods. Groats sell the best, because they are sold by weight and are cheaper than the packaged kind," write the local media. Other popular items are salt, matches, candles, and napkins. The people in half-emptied supermarkets are asked not to panic since new goods have already been ordered.

"To be sure, many of these goods are no longer to be found even in warehouses, and due to the new prices the suppliers are unwilling to purchase more. There may be a shortage of coffee, tea, household chemicals," an administrator of one of Lvov's supermarkets admits. Nobody explains how a city famous for its coffee is going to get by, but considering the prices on imports Lvov may soon drop that aspect of its image.

Local media also write that there was a terrible fight in Ternopol over sunflower seed oil that was on sale for 15 hryvnya per liter. Two women were hospitalized.

J.Hawk's Comment: The National Bank of Ukraine is taking drastic measures to keep the hryvnya from devaluing even further. Just yesterday it prohibited Ukrainian banks from buying foreign currency until February 27, in an effort to depress the demand which ideally ought to help stabilize the hryvnya. On the debit side, this is only a temporary measure which hits importers who need foreign currency to operate, and moreover moves legitimate currency trades into the black market. The NBU's determination to keep the exchange rate somewhere closer to 25 hryvnya/dollar may yield a few days of stability (though that's not a foregone conclusion—today the exchange rate has fluctuated wildly), only to result in a much worse crisis once the ban is lifted on the 27th.

Just to make things worse, Gazprom has announced it will end gas supplies to Ukraine due to its failure to pre-pay for future deliveries, a move apparently related to the earlier decision to supply gas directly to Novorossia (after Kiev cut off its supplies) and to bill Kiev for the full volume.

Either way, Ukraine's economy is in an extremely serious crisis. Typically, about the only thing the West can do is talk about sending arms and trainers to Ukraine, which actually exacerbates the country's economic instability by raising the risk of conflict escalating.

Defense Minister Shoygu Admits Russian Army is Fighting in Eastern Ukraine

Defense Minister Shoygu Admits Russian Army is Fighting in Eastern Ukraine
By J.Hawk

The photograph posted on Facebook by Mikhail Pashayev shows how the excited Defense Minister Sergey Kuzhugetovich Shoygu explains Russian Army operations to President Putin, while the Russian General Staff Chief, General Makarov, looks on in astonishment:

Shoygu: "¦and then I threw the Red Banner Sukhe-Bator Armored Cavalry Division at Debaltsevo! The little Mongolian horses are getting stuck to their bellies in the mud, but the gunners are continuing to fire from the armored turrets strapped to the saddles, 125mm cannon are glowing red from continuous firing, anti-tank missiles are whistling above the heads of the riders, it looks like the attack is stalling! But then the Buryat Assault Shaman Brigade starts to beat its drums to depict the work of 203mm howitzers. The US radar goes nuts and writes on its display: "we're f@cked". The Ukrainians are fleeing! Victory!".

Putin: Kuzhugetyyyych"¦

Shoygu: Seriously, Volodya! That's how it went down. You can't fool Psaki!"

J.Hawk's Note: Though it's satire, the references to Russian units are taken directly from Ukrainian media reports on the fighting on the Donbass, and even official statements. Hardly any Russian Army unit of note has not been "decimated" by the UAF in its press releases

NATO Military Parade in Narva, Estonia, greeted by...Russian flag and Soviet national anthem

J.Hawk's Comment: The parade, which also included US armored vehicles, passed at one point within 300 meters of the borders with Russia. Narva happens to be a predominantly Russian-speaking city. Considering the stepped up repression of the Russian-speaking minority in the Baltic states as a result of both the civil war in Ukraine and the economic crisis in these countries that has grown worse due to the EU policy of sanctions, one cannot rule out the possibility the governments of these countries will turn to their own neo-Nazis for help. The parade was likely intended to intimidate the local population, but usually such measures have the opposite effect, as both the flag-waver and the ironic commentary provided by the individual filming it suggest.
