So much for the stolen technology by China. Although Indians are ahead in air & naval incidents yet the Chinese are not far behind. Indians excel in accidents due to failure in routine maintance issues. On the other hand Chinese have not mastered the art of advanced manufacture, hence their hardware / software seemed to breakdown more often.

You only hear about a fraction of Chinese accidents.

The Dhruv has never caused life threatening accidents in India...

Culture | Attack Helicopter Crash Lands In Farmer’s Field | China Car Times - China Auto News

One farmer in the suburbs of Weinan City in Shanxi province got the shock of his life when a CAIZ Z-10 attack chopper fell from the sky into his fields. Both of the crew on board were injured but rescued and sent to hospital where they are thought to be in a none critical condition.

The CAIC Z-10 was developed by Changhe Aircraft (which until recently owned Changhe Auto) and first flew in 2003. The development of the fast flying machine came about in the early 1990"²s when China realized that its civilian converted to military use helicopters were effectively useless against large armor formations and required a dedicated flying tank killer should the PLA ever find itself face to face with a super power.

So far China has a rumored 60 of these birds (possibly 59 after today) with more on order, no other countries operate them as of yet but expect it to be on the export list once domestic demand is complete.

CAIC Z-10 - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

US legal action regarding alleged engine software transfer
In June 2012, United States charged United Technologies and two of its subsidiaries, Pratt & Whitney Canada and Hamilton Sundstrand, of selling engine control software to China which aided in the development of the CAIC Z-10.[14] While the Chinese defence ministry denied that China bought or used the software, Pratt & Whitney Canada and Hamilton Sundstrand agreed to pay more than $75 million to the U.S. government to settle the charges.[15]

Z-10 Attack Helicopter - Army Technology

The Z-10 attack helicopter was developed by the Changhe Aircraft Industries Group (CHAIG) and China Helicopter Research and Development Institute (CHRDI) for the People's Liberation Army (PLA). The helicopter is being manufactured by Changhe Aircraft Industries Corporation (CAIC).

The Z-10 attack helicopter can be primarily deployed in anti-armour and battlefield interdiction missions. The helicopter can also conduct limited air-to-air combat operations.

The Z-10 helicopter took to the skies for the first time in April 2003. The first helicopter was delivered to the PLA in 2009. The Z-10 was displayed for the first time at the 9th China International Aviation and Aerospace Exhibition in Zhuhai in November 2012.

this is a Z10 prototype belongs to CTFE--China Test Flight Establishment, not the PLA Army Aviation...
we used to hope to see it in some museum some day.

according to the report , the pilot mentioned there was something wrong with the tail rotor before the crash...

Please...it's your own bird and just pay a little more attention to it..

In November 2005, a Dhruv crash-landed in Andhra Pradesh, causing the entire fleet to be grounded; the subsequent probe found a fault with the helicopter's tail rotor blades, which has since been corrected.[23][24]

On 2 February 2007, during rehearsals prior to Aero India, a HAL Dhruv of the Sarang helicopter display team of the Indian Air Force crashed, killing co-pilot Squadron Leader Priye Sharma and wounding the pilot Wing Commander Vikas Jetley; the cause of the accident was under investigation.[122][123] After being in a coma for almost four years, Vikas Jetley died in January 2011.[124] The helicopter team continued to perform in the air show.[125]

In October 2009, an Ecuadorian Air Force Dhruv flew into terrain while attempting formation flight with two other helicopters close to an air force base near Quito. Air Force General Leonardo Barreiro said that the helicopter had been destroyed in the crash.[126] The remaining six aircraft were grounded during the investigation, which later concluded pilot error to be the cause.[127]

In February 2010, an Indian Air Force Dhruv was forced to make a crash landing after suffering a loss of power while rehearsing for the "Vayu Shakti" air power show; both pilots survived.[23]

On 21 April 2011, four army personnel were killed when a Dhruv crashed in north Sikkim.[128]

On 19 October 2011, an Indian Border Security Force (BSF) Dhruv crashed in north-east India, resulting in the deaths of the three crew on board. Immediately following the crash, the remaining five Dhruvs of the CRPF were grounded.[129]

On 15 January 2012, a BSF Dhruv crashed onto the runway at Raipur airport during a test flight, there were no deaths but all five of the crew onboard were injured.[130]

On 22 February 2014, an Ecuadorian Air Force Dhruv often used as a presidential transport crashed in the region of Chimborazo. The pilot Capt. Fabian Pazos Narvaez survived, but three military officials died (Lt. Jorge Luis Flores, Capt. Hector Caicedo and Sgt. Cristhian Unda). The incident is under investigation.

2 crews were injured ...

another funny thing is the crash news was reported by China media in Chinese and then the Vietnamese media quoted it. some idiots then jumped to concluded that China didn't report anything.... try to learn some foreign language and get the fact correct before your stupid comments...you can't blame those timely news sources reporting in a language that you couldn't read, which is funny and laughable logic here.
