Notes

Note 1: Forward tubes listed to left, aft tubes listed to right.

Note 2: TTL= Torpedo Tube Launch = missile shots replace mine shots.

Note 3: Not operational with nuclear warheads.

Note 4: May only launch when surfaced.

Note 5: Gulf normally only loads 12 torpedoes.

Note 6: Ming normally only loads 28 mines.

Note 7: Subs carry mines/cruise missiles or torpedos. Reduce torpedo shots by 1 for every two mines carried, disregard at zero torpedo shots. Exception 1: Sang-o only carries mines.

I haven't seen any database referring domestic Chinese boats as Kilos. It is simply wrong as the last shipment was several years ago.

If you can show the hull number on one of those supposed Kilos I can tell you what it is. Since they don't paint the numbers on SSKs it will be kind of hard to even verify the existence of such subs.

Well I can't since I am also questioning AV about those numbers... ... here is my source, a Taiwan web site claiming those numbers for 039A of 330 to 332: MDC�x�Z�g�H�� . But even that source admit that data is NOT very confirmed

One photo believed to be 039A or B under construction, and perhaps someone already attach it. Published date is ~ end-2010
