I don't want to defend what those officials have done, because they definitely have done the worst and will be punished by laws. I just want to question the legitimacy of the title of this thread.

How the hell is Chinese government involved in this issue? Can't you differentiate several CPC officials from the whole Chinese government? I demand an explanation from the thread starter.
