And yet we are completely out of your league. Far ahead in Economy, HDI, competitiveness, every factor that matters. India is not even recognized as a "great power".
Still you are a third world country or a developing country.

India has been bogged down by Pakistan, while we are free to expand our influence all over the world.
Is it ? Pakistan is getting bogged down by itself and the results are there for all to see. As for as India is getting bogged down by Pakistan - well everyone to his version of reality as propagated by the Communist media.

We both were in the same economic position in 1990, tell me who is getting the better deal? India will keep staring into the face of Pakistan.
Nope - you started your liberalization well ahead of us and enjoying the fruits now, we did later and we will reach there.

BTW however low we are, we still host your Largest separatist group and occupy your claimed territory - Zizang. When will you develop the cojones to tackle that ?

Wrong, check the historical GDP. China and India had a similar GDP in 1990.

Today, our economy is FOUR times bigger, and growing faster. The only way you can catch up with us, is if you start growing at 15%.

As for the Xizang issue (it is not "Zizang" by the way), you already saw the results of that in 1962. It was a real wipeout.

Tibet?

1962 wipe out.

And Chola, Nathula and Sumdonzorong Chu?

A pain in the right place for China?

These Chinese fanboys puke whatever has been fed by their CCP masters. They have been taught to look at the world like the donkey which draws carts on the street.

Again You display narrowness in your thinking! CCP and its propagnda at its best!

1962 was a wash-out? Did you even try and take over any major city, town or a even military garrison? Answer is NO!!

The attack came at the time when we had a disastrous PM in the form of nehru (the dumb f%$^&), who kept army at bay and you cleverly utilized element of surprise and cowardice and self-obsessive delusion of nehru to your advantage, however, when you got to know things had gone out of hand you went back!

I need not remind you of ur thrashing at "Chola incident and in 1987"

Even a rag-tag Vietnamese army ravaged PLA for days and PLA ran back with black and blue faces and thousands of dead-bodies ......examples are ample, the point is are you ready to listen?

So what ? And who said we are in a rat race to catch up with you - we have different set of priorities than you.

Results ? No man I see nothing - it is still the Indian Flag that flies in Arunachal (since you give importance to Semantics) and His Holiness continue to preach at Tawang and the Largest separatist group still operates with impunity in Dharamsala. So much for Drama queen Shupa powahh to our North-East.

Maybe the Big Daddy's media tells you something else - but that is not the reality.

There is another way India could catch up with China: If China stops growing and faces a people's revolution...

I don't understand that when their threats didn't work when the nobel prize was being given, how could it work now.

Like Ray sir mentioned.......... laughable. Lets see the response from Norway.

Its more of a face saving measure mate - their threats went down the drain during the Nobel Peace Prize ceremony, now they just want a one more go at regaining their badly hurt pride by issuing a second 'chance' to the Norwegians.

Actually, I like the way Chinese deal with these westerners. I think Indians should not choose sides and just enjoy the tamasha between two scums(especially, since both the scums want to screw India one way or the other).

This nobel prize is a huge hogwash(especially the peace part). Gandhi not eligible but Obama is qualified, wah re wah. India and China should get together and discredit this prize that can be used to prop up the like Binayak Sen or A-roy

I have been advocating this for long - Milk the Western Cow for all its is worth before the fear of the Chini boogeyman expires.

If god-forbid NPP is given to A-Roy then I pray the GoI does not react in the way Chini Govt reacted. The Govt must not even care such an event is going to happen nor should the media even give it coverage (of course some like undie TV will give, but others can ignore). That will be the best reaction.

Yep, we should do that but take care that we dont get caught in our own games and be milked. Remember, we are new to this game while the western world is experienced in this from a long time.

No, the western world has several lackeys in India who would go all out in propaganda. What china has done is a good role model to be followed. Even after giving the greatest prize, what has western world gained and what has China lost? China prempted all the propaganda by being active and ruthless. If India is passive, then we will be haunted by the ghost of nobel prize winner A-roy or some scum.

Agreed. This is one area where the CONgress excels with its natural flair for lies, double dealing and hypocrisy :p

No,...on the contrary they made it a prestige issue and what happened ? except some banana republics all others who matter attended the ceremony which was a big egg on the face of Chini. IMO the best way to face such fools is by ignoring them. Their only aim is to provoke you - we should fall into their trap by becoming hyper.

CONgress excels in those departments only when faced with innocent Indians, but when faced with their masters, Mainos cower in the dark wetting their gowns and pants. US can drops bombs on them by mere leaks of wiki...

Who cares who attended it...? The point is if the China had not made any noise, there would be only one voice that would be heard: that of western world. By making loud threats, China ensured that Nobel was controversial... The controversy will discredit the prize. China also opened a new front. Any future countries can now side with China, if they are offended by Nobel prize. If China had done nothing, then the lies of west would be accepted on face value. But now, a controversy rages and everyone can have their opinions. As soon as people second guess you, your credibility is lost. That is what has happened to Nobel. Infact, China continues to make this award more controversial by dealing with as a political issue and rejecting the idea of the award being impartial and neutral....

China is well within its rights to demand an apology.

The Nobel committee is equally well within their rights to tell the Chicoms to go f**k themselves.
