Bull weighs 14,00kg, owner turns down Rs 7 crore offer

An enormous bull weighing 1400kg has been offered a price of 7 crore Indian rupee but the owner of Yuvraj, as the giant buffalo is called, turned down the offer.

The bull was on an exhibition, titled All India Cattle Show, in the Indian city of Meerut on Friday, reports Times of India.

According to the Indian online newspaper, Yuvraj, a giant 1400kg Murrah bull utterly surprised the show's 10-member jury who was taken aback when the bull's owner Karamvir Singh refused to sell it at Rs 7 crore [Tk 8.8 crore], though an alluring price.

Yuvraj emerged the supreme victor of the bovine competition.

Karamvir Singh claimed that he brought up Yuvraj "like a son" and hence he would not sell it.

"I earn close to Rs 50 lakh a year from Yuvraj," he smiles. "Everything in life is not about MONEY," writes TOI quoting Karamvir.

Yuvraj stretches to 14 feet in length and over 5 feet 9 high. The owner of Yuvraj said, "He (Yuvraj) drinks 20 litres of milk a day, gobbles 5kg of apples and 15kg of very fine quality cattle feed. He also takes a 4km-walk daily."
