Karachi: A bomb exploded near the Chinese consulate in Karachi's upmarket Clifton area on Monday, Dawn reported.

The bomb was fitted on a motorbike parked. There was no immediate report of any casualty.

According to reports, two vehicles were damaged in th blast.

Clifton area is where late Pakistani president Zulfikar Ali Bhutto's mansion is located.
