Apple announced the death of its visionary co-founder Steve Jobs. "We are deeply saddened to announce that Jobs passed away today," the company said.

    RIP.
Man, I don't know if Apple will be the same with Jobs passing on. Truly a visionary.

Although I am firmly in the Android camp and no great admirer of Apple, one has to admit Steve Jobs was an icon and commanded a cult following among many. He and his contribution shall be remembered in history forever. RIP.

Well for me he was the Thomas Edison of this generation. Great loss this in the tech field. Life will go on but we never know what Steve would have come up with next. His ideas will go into the grave with him.

^^What Steve would have come up with is newer and more novel ways of screwing over his customers. Like forcing people to buy proprietary power cords for iPhones instead of standard usb power cables. Or like making self-servicing of Macbooks impossible. Or like coming up with every closed, greedy, "sell you the rope to hang me with" type of scheme. A crook disguised as an "innovator". Sure, he was definitely a master innovator at fooling layidiots into buying his stuff.

    No RIP for this one.

Well Apple's products are overpriced and don't offer much in terms of function, but they're excellent in design and aesthetics.

RIP steve, I never liked apple products, just damn expensive and least compatible OS, although I liked their interface but could never beat windows.
