And additionally trump seems to kinda admire putin; that is unprecedented from a major western politician?

why if China is your enemy then it is a good idea to separate them from their pseudoally??

Most of the US nuke missiles are almost 3-4 decades old.
While Russia is churning out new B missiles almost every half a decade.

For the US (and it's global policies/agenda) it (nukes) will be a drain; for russia, it will be an insurance policy against US.

US has focused more on the Naval side. US Pacific fleet will never let Chinese navy
leave the chinese shores. Two OHIO sub have more nukes then the whole chinese arsenal.
Atleast half a dozen probably patrol the pacific ocean 24/7/365. US satellites can track all
Chinese subs. China economy and shoreline could be decimated within a few hours.

it hasnt happened at all although china has made a lot of US individuals v rich and they could have been the prie movers behind that failed idea

by bringing china out the usa has helped china's economy grow tremendously and allow the profits to finance their military growth too ..... the idea case would have been a controlled growth of china's economy by the west i.e. the NATO nations , but that didnt happen

this has to be done now ! ....... during the term of TRUMP ....otherwise the substantial military advantage the US has over china will be gone

the first opportunity was during MacArthur's time and it was not taken ..... meanwhile countless opportunities have been missed ....last chance will be during the next 4 years of trumps term or if he gets a second.

Me thinks it's US + Russia vs China as opposed to the usual US vs Russia. Putin also hinted towards overhauling nuclear delivery vectors a while back.

US navy is at serious disadvantage against China. Chinese submarines are equipped with anti-ship missiles, US submarines are only with torpedoes. If China invades Taiwan, one estimate says only 11 US aircraft will be able to take off after initial missile strike.

Chinese Celebrate ‘Year Of The Rooster’ With a Huge Trump-Rooster Statue

Donald Trump is like a rooster in many ways. He has a tousle of red-orange hair at the top of his head, his orange coloring is attention grabbing and he wakes us all up at sunrise every morning with tweets about how Saturday Night Live is bad.

Artist Casey Latiolais observed the connection between Trump and the bird and designed a Trump-rooster statue for a Chinese shopping mall.

The statue was commissioned by the mall's owners and miniature versions of it are reportedly being sold inside and on the Chinese ecommerce site Taobao. Latiolais told Mashable via Twitter that he was unaware his design would be used to create such a towering sculpture, and is as surprised as anyone to discover his design reaching a height above 30 feet.

I believe in climate change. I just don't believe it's a result of human activity (note: I am strictly against deforestation, but for different reasons). The Favourite argument of the green brigade is to take a chart of the average global temperature in the last 150 years. It's statistical subterfuge. Anyone who studies geology or planetary sciences will know that the earth has been much warmer and much colder at different points in time if only they look at data spanning thousands of years. Green brigade will be selectively ignorant about it and pretend it never exists. And Scientists who say the truth are branded heretics and shunned by the community. The fact is, thousands of jobs and billions of $$ (from Scientists, to R&D labs, to automobiles and what not ) are riding on this claim. It's something that has become too big to fail (just like the F35 ) and infact, to be solved. Again if it was solved, thousands will be out of jobs instantly. So far no president had the guts to antagonize the green brigade and by extension the SJWs, the left and risk losing the support of the majority of brainwashed youth. Trump seems different.

Booker to testify against fellow senator Sessions in unprecedented move

Democratic Sen. Cory Booker is set to testify against Republican Sen. Jeff Sessions Wednesday in an unprecedented move during his attorney general confirmation.

This would be the first time in Senate history that a sitting senator will testify against another sitting senator for a Cabinet post during a confirmation.

Sessions' confirmation hearings are expected to raise additional questions on old allegations of racism from his past. When Sessions was 39-year-old US attorney in Alabama, he was denied a federal judgeship because the Senate Judiciary Committee heard testimony during hearings in March and May 1986 that Sessions had made racist remarks and called the NAACP and ACLU "un-American."

Booker called Sessions' record "concerning in a number of ways," citing his opposition to bipartisan criminal justice reform and immigration reform, criticism of the Voting Rights Act and his "failure to defend the civil rights of women, minorities, and LGBT Americans."

Hungary plans to crack down on non-governmental organizations linked to billionaire George Soros now that Donald Trump will occupy the White House, according to the deputy head of Prime Minister Viktor Orban’s party.

The European Union member will use “all the tools at its disposal” to “sweep out” NGOs funded by the Hungarian-born financier, which “serve global capitalists and back political correctness over national governments,” Szilard Nemeth, a vice president of the ruling Fidesz party, told reporters on Tuesday. No one answered the phone at the Open Society Institute in Budapest when Bloomberg News called outside business hours.

“I feel that there is an opportunity for this, internationally,” because of Trump’s election, state news service MTI reported Nemeth as saying. Lawmakers will start debating a bill to let authorities audit NGO executives, according to parliament’s legislative agenda.

Orban, the first European leader to publicly back Trump’s campaign, has ignored criticism from the European Commission and U.S. President Barack Obama’s administration for building a self-described “illiberal state” modeled on authoritarian regimes including Russia, China and Turkey. In 2014, Orban personally ordered the state audit agency to probe foundations financed by Norway and said that civil society groups financed from abroad were covers for “paid political activists.”
