Recent polls show that Russian view towards EU hits all time low. Also sentiment in other regions of the world has shown increasing negative attitude towards EU. Europeans are blamed from proxy wars to having a "noses up" attitude to other cultures and religions.
Is this something for Europeans to worry about? Or is this mostly from autocratic countries and their media feeding propaganda which tries to advance the goals of those governments. Europe is the world largest economy and has the highest standard of living in the world. There are no wars in the region, no large scale economic, environmental or demographic problems.
Why Europeans have lost the admiration and friendship from many countries that formally had very favorable view of them and wanted to join EU? What can be done to win those hearts and minds back?
