An area cleanliness and sanitisation drive was carried out in the pictresque Tosha Maidan meadow by joint teams of Army and Civil Administration to area of any unexploded ordnance.The drive was carried out keeping in mind the huge influx of tourists in the beautiful landscape who are vulnerable to the dangers associated with the unexploded shells. All efforts have been made to ensure that the area is sanitized. However, it is urged to the AWAAM that in case they find any such unexploded ammunition, they should immediately approach to the nearest Army Camp so that instant action is taken to destroy it.

you should have clearly mentioned it as "Private Manufactures" as "Govt aided Companies" like BEML got orders for Tatra 8x8 & 10x 10, OFB got 400 6x6 MPV orders....

Volunteer teams of Dogra Regiment distributing relief material in Kodagu. Medicines, blankets, food items, solar lights and school kits were distributed . We are at it.

For prevention of changed course of river Kannadipuza from entering village Chandrasekharapuram of Palakkad District, Kerala, Engineer Task Force of 8 Engineer Regiment broke check dam on the river using explosives and tracked excavator. We are at it.

The real story....it wasn't UAE or Pakistan who saved us Keralites it was our Armed Forces, Para Military, Cops & Fireforce alongside our fellow Indians who contributed materials and funds.

If I am not wrong, this picture is of the Korean War. The 60th Parachute Field Ambulance Regiment. Known to the Amreekis and Brits as the Maroon Angels, they served for 3 and a half years, the longest of any single military unit under the UN Flag.
